Since 1982, The North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) has required Generating Availability Data System (GADS) reporting to better understand and predict the long-term availability of plants. As the number of renewable energy plants has increased, so has the need to better monitor renewable energy. In 2018, NERC created a new Wind GADS report and, starting in 2024, will start mandatory Solar GADS reporting.
Join us as we discuss the 2024 changes to GADS and how PCI can reduce the overhead of generating multiple GADS reports from an evolving portfolio.
Here’s what you’ll learn:
- 2024 NERC GADS changes, including conventional, wind, and solar
- PCI’s holistic GADS solution that caters to all resource types and NERC reporting requirements
- Synergy with PCI Outage Management solution
Who will benefit from this webinar:
- Regulatory and compliance employees who want a general understanding of the workings of the PCI solution and how it fits the requirements
- GADS coordinators
- Fleet managers responsible for GADS event reporting across their unit portfolio and are interested in a one-stop shop for tracking their plant’s performance
- Market and merchant employees who want a broader understanding of the compliance steps for GADS
- Individuals in software procurement and sourcing seeking a cohesive solution for all GADS reporting needs
