This webinar will detail how PCI’s GenTrader platform is used to optimize power ops for the Florida Municipal Power Pool (FMPP), which includes loads in 19 Florida cities and more than 60 generating resources totaling 4,500 MW. Specifically, the webinar will show how GenTrader:
- Solves complex optimization and planning challenges involving combined-cycle operations, gas supply constraints, transmission limits, and more
- Optimizes short-term operations, forecasts gas burn, prices short-term/bilateral trades, and more
The session will also outline lessons learned and describe several significant benefits that have been achieved using GenTrader optimizations.
