Back-office workflows for RTO participants can be very complex. Most RTO participants need to validate and pay the following settlement invoices on a weekly and monthly basis:
- Daily market settlement statements and weekly invoices that are received from RTOs (ERCOT, MISO, SPP, PJM, CAISO, etc.)
- Monthly settlement statements and invoices that are received for power-purchase agreements with renewable (wind, solar, battery) suppliers
- Monthly settlement statements and invoices received from counterparties for bilateral energy and ancillary-service transactions
- Monthly gas settlement statements and invoices received from gas suppliers and pipeline companies for natural gas trades
The purpose for this webinar is threefold:
- Review the back-office workflows for RTO participants to validate meter data, perform e-Tag checkout, and validate market settlements, contract settlements, and gas settlements
- Demonstrate how the PCI ETRM Platform can be used to automate back-office workflows
- Provide actual case studies showing benefits of using the PCI ETRM platform to automate back-office workflows
