Breaking news … SPP RTO market went live successfully on April 1, 2026. Engineering-wise, this was a BIG milestone since SPP was the first RTO to run a joint market optimization to optimize resources to serve loads in 2 BAAs (SPP East BAA in the Eastern Interconnection and SPP West BAA in the Western Interconnection), which are connected with DC ties.
In this webinar, we will illustrate how PCI Insights can be used to review a large volume of market data and provide feedback on market operations for your resource fleet during the first 2 weeks of SPP RTO go live.
Who will benefit from this webinar:
- Portfolio managers and traders: Learn how PCI Insights can be used to review DA & RT operations for your resources. Review whether SPP DA & RT awards & prices make sense for your portfolio of resources
- Back Office Analysts: Use PCI Insights to review SPP RTO charge codes (around 100 charge codes) and key billing determinants for your portfolio (Resources, Loads, TCR/ARRs, Bilaterals)
- Management: Use PCI Insights to review DA & DART Profits & Losses for your portfolio and finetune bidding strategies
Whether you are a portfolio manager, trader, analyst, or anyone invested in optimizing enterprise reporting, this is your chance to see how PCI Insights can capture your front-office and back-office SPP data to perform P&L analysis, diagnose SPP penalties, and validate make-whole payments for your portfolio in the new SPP RTO market.
