The go-live marks a significant milestone in Ørsted’s expansion within the U.S. energy market, streamlining their trading workflows across multiple markets and enhancing operational efficiency.
By leveraging PCI’s cloud-based platform, Ørsted is now automating market bidding, scheduling, and settlement processes, including Financial Transmission Rights (FTRs), OTC (over-the-counter) trades, exchange trades, and wholesale multi-market “bid-to-bill” functionality.
Ørsted chose PCI after encountering challenges with previous solutions that struggled to scale their operations and handle the complexity of modern renewable management. With PCI, Ørsted now benefits from enhanced workflow automation and portfolio visibility, enabling them to rapidly expand operations and confidently manage growth in the U.S. market.
